R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.
God indeed is my savior;
I am confident and unafraid.
My strength and my courage is the LORD,
and he has been my savior.
With joy you will draw water
at the fountain of salvation.

Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name;
among the nations make known his deeds,
proclaim how exalted is his name.

Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement;
let this be known throughout all the earth.
Shout with exultation, O city of Zion,
for great in your midst
is the Holy One of Israel!

Hopefully yesterday you saw God’s gift of joy in your marriage and family. I hope it brought a warm happiness and a thankfulness for the spouse and the children that He has given to you. I also hope it brought a healthy pride in your marriage and in your beautiful family. The next step is to “sing praise to the Lord for his glorious achievement.” Be thankful that they are yours. Next, think about how often you speak to others about how amazing your spouse is. In our world today what we hear most often is complaining about one’s spouse. Today be proud of your marriage and your spouse and tell at least one person how lucky you are to have him/her. “Let this be known throughout all the earth.” Think of the people you will shock when you speak positively about your spouse and your marriage. It’s time to shock the world with happy marriages!
