Matrimonial Spirituality - Prayer in Marriage

You are invited to "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest awhile,” Mark 6:31-33.   Join us for a weekend away from the chaos of the world so that you have the quiet to hear each other and to hear Our Lord speak into your marriage.

This retreat will share the second of the 4 Pillars of Matrimonial Spirituality; Prayer in Marriage.   St. Alphonsus Liguori taught, "Whoever prays is certainly saved. He who does not is certainly damned."  If we are called to help our spouse get to Heaven, then we must have a prayer life.  When a couple has a prayer life together, their union is greatly deepened, drawing them towards one another in their quest for greater union with Christ.

We will also have the blessing of participating with the monks in the Liturgy, both Holy Mass and some of the Hours. Join us for a potentially marriage-changing weekend in a beautiful environment with holy monks, focusing on how to grow in love with Christ and with one another!
